It's been a busy month. We finished all the staining (3 coats to be exact) on our log home, caulked, chinked, cut 4 cords of wood, installed a fireplace insert, managed to squeeze in 9 shifts in Fallon and went to Emerald Isle, North Carolina for a week. I'm tired just thinking about it all!
When you only have a few months of summer you really have to get everything done quickly or winter will swallow you up indeed. I think we are almost done with our summer chores so bring on the snow!
We had a wonderful week in NC. We were feeling a little home sick for the south so we headed east. We rented a place on Emerald Isle and had a great time eating at all the old familiar places and relaxing by the beach and pool. For a great family place to get away we highly recommend Emerald Isle. This was out second stay at the Pebble Beach Condominiums. For the money you can't beat it. Ocean front, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, pool, sauna, and much more for $100/night! What a bargain!
