Well, Fall has come and is quickly leaving. We had some beautiful changing leaf colors followed by lots of leaves to rake. The boys loved riding on the tarp as we trucked them to the curb.
It is suppose to start snowing in Idaho today with expectations of two feet in the mountains. That means ski season is just around the corner, Yeah! We are hopeful that Tamarack Resort in Donnelly, Idaho will be open this year. It is the resort behind Janet's parent's house that went into bankruptcy 2 years ago. It sure makes for some really nice and close by skiing.
The boys are growing up way too fast. I'm still able to manage in a few snuggle sessions every now and then. Yesterday Caleb decided he wanted to sleep in daddy's lap. My heart just melts! I love those boys!
Janet is quickly approaching her December 1st start date with a clinic in Boise. It's exciting yet scary for all of us as we have been spoiled by such a great stay at home mommy. Unfortunately, the medical boards and malpractice carriers don't like for doctors to be out of practice more than about a year so we have to do what we have to do. Thankfully it is only one day a week for her (for now)so we should be able to manage just fine.
I will continue working in Nampa, ID and in Fallon, NV in the emergency departments. Hopefully I will begin phasing out the Nampa job and work primarily in Fallon 8 days a month. I enjoy the Fallon job a lot more but it means I am gone from home 8-10 days a month. There's always a trade off isn't there.
My brother and sister and their children will be coming for Christmas this year. We are so excited! We have rented a house in the mountains that should hold us all. Actually, we may be owners of a house in the mountains on Friday. We made a ridiculous offer on a beautiful log home in Donnelly and low and behold the owners and the bank took the offer. It has been in the short sale process now for about 4 months and it looks like everything may actually go through. I will keep you posted. There are some pictures of the place at the end of the blog. Well, have a great Thanksgiving and remeber to not let that turkey set out for more than 3 hours!
