Janet is doing well in her transition back to work. She has been very busy but still manages to sneak away for an hour at lunch to come feed Austin. Austin is doing something new everyday. He has found his fingers and gets great satisfaction out of sucking them, scratching his face, poking them in his eyes and ears and sometimes just starring at them. He is becoming much more content during his awake times and is becoming much more interactive. He loves to smile, laugh and squeal and is happy most of the time. Believe me though, he can definitely let you know when something isn't right!

We are trying our hand at the reusable cloth diaper thing. It's not too bad. No diaper rash yet thankfully. We've been doing it for about three weeks without any major issues. There aren't any scary pins or anything with these new cloth diapers. They use Velcro and breathable (sort of) outer liners so they go on pretty much like a disposable diaper.

There's no real major reason for why we decided to try them other than it sounded intriguing. Don't worry, we haven't turned all "tree hugger" or anything. Austin doesn't seem to mind them either so we'll keep using them until we get bored with them or something else comes along. I'm still working crazy hours in the ER at Camp
Lejeune. Nothing major to tell you about there. Well, enough for now. Eric
